Lunar New Year Activations 2025 Recap

For this Lunar New Year festive season, our clients were loving the new drapery trend! It was of course all about red, so luxurious velvets, colour blocked red florals, lanterns and accents of gold were the order of the day for the activation backdrops we created.

For UniLodge, the photo and activation backdrop was part of a student event that encompassed lion dancing, traditional cuisine, calligraphy and giveaways. The backdrop created a central focal point in the Common Room providing impactful theming to tie the event together.

Plinths, which are always a favourite, are becoming our go-to to showcase a variety of floral arrangements, in the case using orchids, hydrangea and amaryllis.

For The Bell Tower Perth we really leant into the colour blocking trend with florals, fans and lanterns in red. This activation backdrop was placed inside The Bell Tower in the foyer as part of Lunar New Year festivities outside, to both draw people in as well as continue the festivities inside. hydrangea and chrysanthemums en masse created texutre and interest to the display.
